By way of introduction, New Creation Counseling & Professional Services offers therapy in the areas of Alcohol and Drugs/Substance Related Disorders, Anxiety/Panic Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Behaviors, Posttraumatic Stress Disorders, ADHD/ADD, Marriage and Family Problems, and Biblical/Pastoral Counseling.
Dr. David E. Daisley is the sole owner and operator of this clinic which is located in Nassau County, New York. Dr. Daisley is a doctor of Clinical Psychology and a Clinical Social Worker licensed to practice in the state of New York. Dr. Daisley has several years of continued practice in the field both in private practice and in OASAS as well as OMH settings. Dr. Daisley is a Christian therapist who uses a sound biblical approach to counseling as a way of addressing the human need.
Dr. Daisley works with individuals and groups in clinical settings and has been responsible for implementing structured group approaches to working with substance-abusing clients in conjunction with other mental health issues (MICA). Dr. Daisley is also responsible for setting up and running a program for domestic violence batterers, doing extensive work that focuses on identifying the battering behaviors, what drives the behaviors and seeking ways to bring the behaviors under control.
Additionally, Dr. Daisley works with couples and families in dysfunctional relationships doing brief as well as long-term therapy. Children with special needs resulting from either impaired family relationships/divorce/behavioral problems, are seen in the clinical setting.
Modalities used are: individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. Ages range from pre-adolescents, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
\Dr. Daisley received his doctorate in psychology (Psy.D.) from Southern California University for Professional Studies, MSW from Adelphi University, and is an LCSW. Dr. Daisley is a member of AACC(American Association of Christian Counselors, NASW(National Association of Social Workers), CCPP(Coalition for Christians in Private Practice), member of the Clyde Narramore Christian Foundation referral services.
